Moment is experiential marketing. And I mean we are the definition of it. We do it right. We hear it from our clients all the time – no one does it better. Hell, we’ve even won awards for it. But how do you stay on top? You innovate. You think. You create.

Here are 5 things we think will continue to dominate in experiential trends:

  1. Immersive Experiences. Consumers are looking for more immersive experiences that will allow them to connect with brands on a deeper level. We’ve never believed in VR, but we think the major implications of AR are yet to be seen. Especially with the new Apple headset.
  2. The importance of personalization. Consumers are increasingly looking for personalized experiences and experiential marketing is a great way to deliver this. Onsite, mass customization will continue to be a critical trend.
  3. The focus on community. Experiential marketing is a great way to build community, and brands that can create shared experiences will be the ones that resonate with consumers. This could involve anything from hosting events that bring people together to creating products that are designed to be shared.
  4. The need for innovation. The experiential marketing landscape is constantly evolving, and brands that are able to stay ahead of the curve will be the ones that succeed. This means being willing to experiment with new technologies and to find new ways to connect with consumers. The rinse and repeat model is dead.
  5. Exclusivity will reign supreme. People want access to new, exciting, and exclusive things. From limited edition product drops to private events, consumers desire to be a part of something that not everyone can. This is modern social currency – the ability to generate FOMO.
